Racial hatred, white supremacy and intimidation activity.
Overnight October 29, 2026, a postcard recruiting for the racist Ku Klux Klan was distributed on several residential properties in the Park Ridge East Neighborhood.
We, the Monroe County Branch NAACP, applaud the actions and efforts of the Park Ridge East Neighborhood Association, members of Bloomington City Council and concerned residents who publicly denounce this racist activity done under cover of darkness.
We, the Monroe County Branch NAACP, join the actions of our neighbors and representatives in strongly denouncing the distribution of racial hatred messaging, divisive rhetoric and promotional tactics of white supremacists. Not in our city, Not anywhere!
I understand Bloomington Police Department is investigating.
Yours in the struggle,
President Jim Sims, Monroe County Branch - NAACP
